My name is Callie Skalaban, and I am the owner and lead coordinator at cSp Events. The saying "Life is short" has never come across to me as a pack your bags and travel the world or do something wild and crazy, but instead, a call to action to make sure that even the smallest parts of the lives of those around me are celebrated.
My goal as your event planner, coordinating the most precious of moments, is to ensure confidence that I wouldn't lead you into making a decision that, I, myself, would not want to make. I approach every moment in life as though it carries meaning and purpose, and I vow to bring this same approach in planning your event!

2017
Graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelors of Elementary Education, accepted my first teaching position, and planned my first wedding.

2018

2019
I moved from my first elementary school to be apart of the grand opening of a new school, and got engaged in June!

2020
One year later, in June, I married my best friend and planned our wedding during the height of COVID.
Met my now husband at an Ole Miss vs. Texas A&M Baseball game. As fate would have it, our parents sat a few seats away from each other, and the rest is history.

Received teacher of the year!

Welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Colbie Paige, who I would soon find out is sports obsessed and loves all things sparkly.

Planned numerous luncheons, bridal showers and weddings. Giving me the confidence to start a new beginning.

Officially started cSp Events LLC in January, launched to my family and friends in June and officially planned and coordinated my first wedding in July as owner and lead coordinator of cSp Events.
Each milestone has given me a unique notch in my belt of how to view different obstacles and a graceful way to approach them with not only myself but also those around me.
The Bible calls us to love our neighbors, and one another, multiple times, and in a variety of different ways throughout all of the books. As someone who has a servants heart that is sometimes bigger than I even admit, I fully embrace the idea of showing God's love through my actions as a servant - truly taking on the hands and feet of Jesus to lift others up. In this case, lifting you up on your special day, and cheering you on along the way.
